I am 2 and a half months pregnant & am thinking ahead. Once my child is born I would like to be able to spend as much time as possible with my child but also earn an income. A couple of people suggested looking in to doing childcare as then I would have the best of both worlds. However I need to get the required qualifications first. I work full time so can anyone suggest how I go about this. And does anyone know how long it takes to get these sort of qualifications? I need the qualifications required to become a nanny, a childminder, a nursery nurse, etc. Also is it expensive to do these courses? What qualifications do I need? I live in the UK.
